Lovely pictures. New puss-cat..........? What is this cat called? I like your Santa jug, is it a Toby-Jug? - very similar to mine! MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR Julie xxxxxxxx

I love all the Christmas details and I see you have been busy making yule logs and Christmas cakes. Yum yum! If you want to 'meet' me Hen I have posted a piccy on my blog. Have a lovely Christmas with Mr Henhouse and the Munchkin, Vorey, Charlie and Jacky Ginge. Your home looks very inviting and cosy. Enjoy yourself! x
What a totally fun visit to your home!! I felt like I was accidentally early to a party and got to poke around and see everything while you were upstairs putting the final touches on your party dress! Isn't this the most fun time of the year!? ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ *M*E*R*R*Y* *C*H*R*I*S*T*M*A*S*!* ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
Glorious photographs Hen! I do so love that cake tin in the top photo, and I've just noticed your new profile photo too :o)
I hope that you, Mr Henhouse, Munchkin and the rest of your family have a fantastic Christmas Hen! And may Santa Claus bring all the Little Munchkin wishes for ;o) Take care lovely lady. All the best, Love Donna xxx
P.s. Thats a most splendid 'Quilt Roll of Honour' you have there my dear :o)
Tinsel draped casually, a tree with breakable baubles- how can I tell your cats are all at the sensible-not-climbing-the-Christmas-tree age...looking at photos of other peoples' trees makes me long for my mad kitten to grow old and wise before next Christmas! Have a lovely time.x
Thanks for prompting me to finally take up patchworking, due to my visits to your blog. Hope you have a great Christmas. p.s I too have the Father Christmas jug. We use ours for the white sauce. louise x

Hello and thank you for visiting the HenHouse. I'm a stay-at-home thirty-something mum looking after Mr HenHouse and the Munchkin, aged 11 (going on 15). We have three fabulous cats who we adore and spoil rotten: Charlie Boy, Vorey Puss and Jacky Ginge. We split our time between our Victorian home in London and our weekend bolthole in the West Country which is a dinky 16th Century thatched cottage. I have always loved vintage, particularly the pink and flowery. I have collections of eiderdowns, china and fabrics to name just a few. I love sewing and am an avid patchworker and quilter. As a family, we are dotty about the past and love the 1940s, often dressing up for re-enactment events. To fund my fabric habit, I have the occasional stall at craft fairs and sell handmade items over the 'net, too. Our homes have been featured in magazines and I'm pretty nutty about interiors.
